A Message from the Principal
My name is Bibi Shariman Ali and I am so pleased to be the principal of Brock Elementary School. On behalf of our staff, I welcome you to Brock Elementary School's web site.
I am very passionate about education and have served in this field for forty-five years. Before coming to Brock Elementary School in 2014, I served in various capacities both at the teaching and the managerial levels.
At Brock Elementary we are committed to ensure that all students develop to their full potential in a safe, caring and rich learning environment. Our school strives in placing a high emphasis on literacy, numeracy, inquiry based learning and the Arts. In addition to the Ontario Curriculum, BES offers a rich Arabic, Quranic and Islamic Studies Program. Our balanced program provides the opportunity for our students to be nurtured through their minds, body and soul.
We are preparing our students to be citizens of a global world…the leaps and bounds occurring every year in Information Communication Technology is making this essential, while simultaneously making this possible. ICT now underpins all processes within the school and so we put a lot of energy and resources into making this effective and efficient. All our students have excellent access to computers, the internet, and printing.
Parents and the community are an essential part of Brock Elementary School. They are our greatest support in the execution of our program.
I believe in ongoing communication between the community and the school.. Do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions, comments or concerns about the school. I can be reached by telephone 905-426-7887 ext. 6 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
