It is an honour to be Principal of Brock Elementary School. I am excited to plan and actuate a successful and rewarding year working with dedicated staff, parents and community to provide an exceptional educational experience for our students.
I’m very passionate about education and I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a caring, engaging, and high-quality school experience. As the parent of a boy age 20 and two daughters ages 16 and 15, I recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and I believe that by working together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.
Before joining this school, I served in a variety of teaching and educational leadership roles over the past 11 years, primarily with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). Some of the roles I have held include classroom teacher, working with Regular Students, Exceptional Students (Special Needs) and Gifted Students. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), a Master Degree in Administration, an Additional Basic Qualifications in Mathematics for Intermediate and a Certificate of Special Needs in the Education.
It is my hope that we will work together to provide our students the best possible opportunities in preparing them to be world class citizens ready to master the challenges of the 21st century with a solid Islamic foundation created here at our school.
As Principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in or call to make an appointment to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help us improve our services to our students.
With all my respect,
Sister Razia Habibi
