Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalāmu’alikum wa rehmatullahi wa barakatuhu
Following strong recommendations and directives from all levels of government and public health officials, the PIC management, has been left with no choice but to suspend ALL CONGREGATIONAL PRAYERS for the public at Masjid Usman until further notice. This includes the five daily prayers and Jumuah Salah. However, to fulfill the rights of the Masjid and to maintain its sanctity, the management has appointed an Imam and 3 musallis to perform the 5 daily prayers and jumuah salah.
We urge the community to conduct small congregations for daily salah and jumuah in their homes and workplaces while safe to do so.
This heartbreaking decision was made upon consultation with our resident religious scholars.
Furthermore, all on site educational and social activities (including all schools, weekly halaqas and classes) have also been suspended. Online alternatives will soon be offered bi-idhni’Llah.
Take note that PIC will continue to offer Funeral and Burial services, but with certain restrictions due to the present circumstances. Please call or email PIC for more information. (contact information available below)
We appreciate the understanding and support of the members of our community. We humbly request that you continue to pray for the alleviation of this calamity.
We ask Allah 'azza wa jall to forgive us for our shortcomings and for any decisions that may incur His displeasure. Ameen.
Our centre will be available for limited contact at the following:

Jazak’Allah u Khair.

In light of the growing number of COVID-19 cases locally and across the globe, the PIC management has made a difficult and painful decision to suspend Jummah Salah at Masjid Usman until further notice. This is in addition to the earlier decision of suspending all educational and social activities, including all schools run under PIC, weekly halaqas and duroos.
For now, Masjid Usman will continue to offer the five daily prayers, but with strict enforcement of following precautionary measures:
We understand and appreciate that it is very difficult for many to stay away from the mosque. We ask that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala accept our intention and reward us with the same reward of praying in the mosque.
Once again, this was a very difficult decision for the management. We ask Allah 'azza wa jall to forgive us for our shortcomings and for any decisions that may incur His displeasure.
Ameen.
Jazak’Allah u Khair.

Dear Brothers and Sisters
Assalāmu’alikum wa rehmatullahi wa barakatuhu
As you know, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, which is a call for action – for everyone everywhere.
Alhamdulillah, in response to the situation, PIC has taken following steps in ensuring safety of our community.
Although we are doing our best, we can not be successful in limiting the spread of virus without the willful cooperation and help of the congregants. We, therefore, ask you to do the following:
May Allah SWT save us all.
Jazak Allah.
