Introduction:
Faith Foundations is a structured two-year course designed to give students a strong foundation in the ‘fardh ‘ayn (obligatory knowledge) as well as introduce them to the sacred sciences. Students will learn the fundamentals of Islamic theology (‘Aqeedah) and Islamic law (Fiqh). Students will then transition to studies in the Quran and the noble Hadith beginning with the study of tajweed (Art of Quranic Recital) and the noble Seerah (biography of Prophet Muhammad S) concluding with studies in Islamic ethics and self-reform (Akhlaq/Tazkiya).
Classes for brothers will be held in person at Masjid Usman (Conference room). Sisters will join live classes virtually.
Certificates will be awarded to students who successfully complete the course and relevant assessments.
Registration is now open. Spaces are limited.
