Shaykh Abu Bakr al-Shatri is a renowned Saudi Imam and Qur’anic reciter, widely admired for his beautiful and precise recitation of the Qur’an. He pursued formal studies in Qur’anic sciences and received an ijazah in the recitation of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim under the guidance of esteemed scholars.

Known for his strong command of tajweed and deeply moving style, Shaykh al-Shatri has recorded the complete Qur’an and has led prayers in several prominent mosques across Saudi Arabia. He has also participated in international Islamic conferences, sharing his knowledge and recitation with audiences worldwide.

He currently serves as the Imam of Al Furqan Mosque in Jeddah, where he continues to inspire communities through his leadership and dedication to the Qur’an.
